Have some of my favorite cars! I was more excited about getting my horizontal license today than buying alcohol. (Yay, Ohio)

I have had many bad experiences on rum, so now I personally can't drink it anymore. It's like Tyrone and crack, after he took a shit on the sidewalk and about died from his free crack party he can't smoke rocks anymore. And I just think whiskey is the better way to go, you won't look like a frat guy pounding ron diaz.

I can't wait to get my horizontal license. The vertical ones look so dumb, and they lump you in with the 16 year olds who just got their learners.

Off the top of my head Crown Royal, Jack Daniels, Templeton Rye, Pendleton, Makers Mark, and Jim Beam. Those are all whiskey's that you can mix with something (besides crown Templeton and Pendleton) and not feel too bad about it. I personally like them on the rocks but if you want to spend more ask the liquor store dude for some recommendations. Also Seagram's seven with seven up is cheap and tastes good if your on a budget!

I've had rum, not a huge fan of it personally. Won't say no if it's free but I prefer good beer, whiskey, bourbon, and similar.

Is it very sweet? That's another thing that really threw me off of rum was from how sweet it ended up getting after the 2nd drink.

Not at all. It's very dry. It's a lot more like a whiskey made from sugar instead of grain than most rums.

It isn't a bad place to live. Neither is Dayton I always wished I could live around there to see all the cool military aircraft flying in.

I sat here staring at this article trying to think what a horizontal license was for a good 15 minutes before I realized mine is vertical and when you turn 21 you get one that is horizontal...i actually feel like the dumbest human being.

Dayton is a good area with some variety of environments/towns. Honestly, the only things you see regularly are cargo aircraft (C-17) and occasionally one of the Air Force 1 planes coming in for secret-squirrel upgrades. I live in the town right up against WPAFB and in 15 years of paying attention the only interesting stuff I've seen are a few F-16s, a couple Chinooks and Blackhawks, and a few other things and those were all following 9/11 in 01-03.

Funny sidenote: most people who aren't from the area complain about the noise from the C-17 flyovers all the time except locals who tuned it all out after a couple years. I personally don't notice unless they are quite low and shake my house or if someone says something.

Really? That is disappointing. I figured maybe on occasion an F-22 or something like that would fly in. But I could see how some people get annoyed by the C-17 even driving on the highway they seem super low and close to the residence sometimes.
